Wilson, Shannon & Snow, Inc. is a full-service Certified Public Accounting firm licensed in OH, members of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Ohio Society of CPAs.. All our Certified Public Accountants hold valid OH State CPA Certificates.


Mike Crumrine, CPA

Mike is a graduate of The Ohio State University with over 30 years' experience in public accounting and is the WSS Firm Manager. His areas of practice include financial statement audits and reviews, and small business taxation and consulting. He is responsible for the audits of employee benefit plans and the audits of service organizations (SSAE 18). Along with his affiliation with WSS, Mike is also the Treasurer of Licking County Community Health, volunteers for Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra, and is a lifetime member of The Ohio State University Alumni Association. Mike resides in Newark with his wife, Kim.

Jodie Wheeler, CPA

Jodie is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and holds an associate degree in computer programming from COTC. She has over 35 years' experience in public accounting and is Treasurer & Technology Manager for Wilson, Shannon and Snow, Inc. Over the years, she has worked with several different industries including restaurants, professional offices, light manufacturing, contractors and nonprofits. With her accounting and technology background, she is able to service clients in all stages of their business cycle from startup to maturity. She specializes in business, tax and computer consulting, as well as QuickBooks and Sage accounting software. In addition to her affiliation with Wilson, Shannon and Snow, Inc., she is also a life-time member of The Ohio State University Alumni Association, board member for The Woodlands Serving Central Ohio, Inc., Treasurer for the Newark Sport and Event Commission (Newark Ice Arena), a member of the COTC Alumni Council, COTC Accounting Advisory Committee and Newark Area Zonta Club. Jodie's professional memberships include the AICPA and The Ohio Society of CPAs. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and is an avid Ohio State and Chicago Cubs fan.

Tim Solt, CPA

Tim has been with WSS since graduating Miami University in 1984 and serves as Vice President. His areas of expertise include real estate, construction, small business sectors, and non-profit organizations. Tim served as past Board President, with Licking County United Way and Treasurer, Funds Distribution and Development Committees. He has also been involved in a number of other local organizations including Operation Feed campaign, member of the Leadership Council of his church, Ohio High School Athletic Association as a licensed football official, and a founding member of the Licking County Crime Stoppers.  Tim and his wife, Janelle, enjoy traveling, all things OSU, and reside in Harrison Township.

Doug Warns, CPA

Doug is a 1988 graduate of The Ohio State University and has been practicing public accounting at WSS since his graduation. His areas of expertise include manufacturing, construction and small business clients, along with tax preparation. He currently serves as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Licking and Perry Counties. In addition to his affiliation with WSS and Big Brothers, Doug is a lifetime member of The Ohio State University Alumni Association, past president of the Pickerington North Rebounders Booster Club, past president of the Central Ohio Football Officials Association, and currently serves as the President of the Ohio Association of Football Officials. Doug enjoys spending time with his daughters and officiating NCAA Division I football.

Aden Hardesty, CPA

Aden is a 1997 graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University.  His areas of practice include financial statement audits and reviews. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of CPAs.   Along with his affiliation with WSS, Aden is also the Treasurer for the Newark Sport and Event Commission (Newark Ice Arena).  Aden lives in Newark with his wife, Luci, and they enjoy spending time with their children and family.

Meghan Poth, CPA

Meghan Poth is a 2001 graduate of Wittenburg University, and since has worked with WSS in accounting.  She was honored with The Advocate’s 20 under 40 in 2015.  A lifelong member of the Newark community, she is an alumni of Blessed Sacrament School and Newark Catholic High School.  She resides in Newark with her husband, Jason Miller, their son, Liam, and Bella, the dog.  She enjoys vacationing with her family and attending concerts.

Crystal Kent, CPA

Crystal is a graduate of Capital University with over 25 years of experience in public accounting. She primarily focuses on corporate, partnership and individual tax preparation and planning, and specializes in the not-for-profit area.  Along with her affiliation with WSS, she is also a member of various local organizations, a steering committee member of the Newark Area Financial Planning Group and former member of the Columbus Foundation Professional Advisory Committee.  She enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports, and attending concerts.
